About Anthony
Anthony Prestia is an attorney & hacker living in Washington, DC. When he's not writing about himself in the third person, he's probably diving headfirst into a harebrained project that he knows too little about.
About the Blog
This blog is powered by the compact, hacker-friendly blogging engine toto and a custom template of my own invention called dodo. Hosting is provided by Heroku. Eye candy and graceful degradation are made possible by HTML5 Boilerplate, jQuery, modernizr, hyphenator.js, and highlighter.js. All development takes place in TextMate, terminal, and Coda. Posts are written in John Gruber's excellent markdown syntax and saved in plaintext. Version control is powered by Git.
The source code for dodo is available on GitHub and is totally free (as in speech and beer). I encourage anyone interested in learning some Ruby to give it a look.
Web Standards Statement
This blog adheres to modern web standards, but (against my better judgment) contains one validation error in order to help support users still running IE6. While I have done my best to ensure a comparable experience across browsers, I cannot guarantee that this blog will look or run flawlessly on non-compliant browsers. If you have trouble rending this blog in an older version of Internet Explorer, try downloading Chrome frame. If you still have a problem, you're probably out of luck.

I love hearing from readers, but I often find myself under a mountain of email. As a result, I ask that all email be directed to my Shortmail account:
